View from Seoul Tower

Seoul Tower situated in central Seoul, the Capital of South Korea, which is 236m tall. As Seoul Tower is located at the Peak of Namsan Mountain it is also named Namsan Tower and is the 2nd highest point in Seoul. It is a popular tourist place in the heart of Seoul. Seoul Tower was raised in 1969 and was Korea’s first radio wave tower transmitting Television and Radio broadcasts across the capital, Seoul.

A grandstand view of the city can be shown from the Seoul Tower from the peak and also it offers a 360-degree panorama over the city, and 32LCD screens reconnecting the 600-year history of Seoul. From the survey organized in 2012, it was found that Seoul Tower ranked number one attraction point in Seoul.

Seoul Tower was first known with the name Namsan Tower but later in 2005, it was renamed with the name N Seoul Tower. Here ‘N’ is meant for ‘Namasan’, ‘New’ and ‘nature’.

Digital art projected at the tower

The digital art of LED lightning arrays different attractive colours and patterns at night onto the tower and also there is a digital observatory service that provides visitors with a great experience of view in life with the help of 32 LED screens scaled at the top of the tower. This facility is for those visitors who have the issue of facing heights.

A Roof Terrace

A roof terrace is a boundless wooden viewing deck situated at the top of the N plaza. It is the fences of the terrace which all covered with padlocks. The sky restroom

The sky restroom are the luxurious restrooms located at the top of the tower the most attracting part of the room is that it has special glass windows that face out, here the whole view is seen from the rooms with glass windows.

The Hancock restaurant

The Hancock restaurant is a restaurant situated at top of the Seoul Tower offering foods in Korean styled by following Korean culture. This restaurant is a Korean buffet-style restaurant with a beautiful view of the city from the top. It is the most loved restaurant by the visitors as it has a great view and also it promotes Korean culture with the world which most liked by the visitors.

Wishing pond

Seoul Tower also holds a wishing pond on its 2nd floor where visitors throw coins into the pond with their wishes. And then those coins are collected and are donated to the schools with the motive of helping underdeveloped areas.

N Grill Restaurant

N Grill restaurant is positioned on the 4th floor of the tower; this restaurant is specialized with the availability of French foods boasting the best view of Seoul. Here high classes of French cuisine are presented with the best chefs for the visitors. 

Along with these attraction points in Seoul Tower, many more are there to attract visitors like the Teddy bear museum which likened by kids, this museum was inaugurated in 2008 with 7 meters tall Christmas tree which is all covered with 300 teddy bears. The tower also includes a photo studio, dining options, activity area, café, nursing room and kids’ theatre. N Plaza of the tower also has some attracting points which are loved by the visitors like light garden situated in N plaza, grass terrace, ticket booths and many more.

N Seoul Tower opening hours

A fixed hour is decided for visiting Seoul Tower and it has its observatory opening hours for visiting. The schedule set for visiting are as follows:

• SUNDAY- FRIDAY: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM           

• SATURDAY: 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM        

Among four-deck of tower base deck, a deck of observation is found opened 24/7.
